Survey the Area
โ Install the antenna and turn on the locator.
โก Press the "SEN+" button to adjust the sensitivity to the maximum value(7), you will hear the noise from the speaker (you can also adjust or turn off
the volume by pressing the "SOUND" button), and setting the mode to "Far".
โขHold the receiver and walk around the area where you want to estimate the location, slowly sweeping the receiver back and forth.
โฃ When the correct direction of the transmitter is detected, the signal will become stronger, otherwise, it will become weaker.
โค When the signal display is full, slowly reduce the sensitivity by pressing the "SEN-" button.
โฅKeep the receiver perpendicular to the ground and slowly move closer to the transmitter. When the sensitivity is adjusted to the minimum value (1)
and the signal display is still full, set the mode to "Near".
Detector Searches for Specific Locations
โ Use the above steps to find the approximate location of the transmitter and switch the mode to "near".
โก Press the "SEN+" button to adjust the sensitivity to the maximum value (7), hold the receiver, and slowly sweep the receiver back and forth within
the approximate location of the transmitter. The closer you get to the exact location of the transmitter, the stronger the signal will be, otherwise, it will become weaker.
โข When the signal is displayed as the strongest, slowly lower the sensitivity by pressing the "SEN-" button. When the sensitivity is adjusted to
the minimum value (1) and the signal display becomes the strongest, you can determine that this position is the specific location of the transmitter

Can find the drainage in my yard my be 2 feet under ground ?
Hi, Azim. Yes, it can help locate a drainage buried around 2 feet underground. Our S68R locator can receive signals when the camera head is within 5 meters/16.4ft deep, and then locate the specific position of the camera head in the pipeline. You would push the camera head into the drainage, then use the locator above ground to track the exact position of the drainage.

Can the unit be used with the transmitter is attached to a metal (electrical) fish tape without needing the camera?

Our 512Hz transmitter can be strapped to a metal (electrical) fish tape (even without a camera head), and it needs to be used with a 512Hz locator to receive the transmitter's 512Hz signal. what is the difference between the 68 & the 58 ?
The biggest difference between the S68R and S58R locators is their detection distance. S58R Locator: The maximum detection distance is 6 m (19.7 ft). In Near mode, the maximum is 3 m (9.8 ft). S68R Locator: Far Mode (about 5M/16.5FT) and Near Mode (about 1M/3.3FT). Currently, the S58R locator is priced slightly lower than the S68R locator because it's a new product, so please feel free to purchase.

We cannot find our charger - and we've attempted to use an Apple phone USB-C charger plugged into the wall. Is there a DC adapter charger that we can purchase that will work for this?
