Introduction

Hello, ladies and gentlemen, Santa's Workshop here. I am back with another great product to do a review on for you. This is the Sanyipace multifunctional articulating borescope.

Let's open this thing up. Comes in a very nice carrying case, and it is a very nice piece. It's handheld, as you can see. Nice heavy cable, but we're going to do something with this a little differently.

Borescope vs Mufflers

Run out of engines and stuff to show, so what I want to do is I want to look inside a muffler. I've made my own mufflers before. As some of you have been watching me for a while, I've got an idea for another style of muffler.

I've seen you know the cutaways and stuff, but what I want to do is I want to compare two Mufflers. I've got two brand-new sets of mufflers here. One is the hush-thrush turbo muffler, the other is the hooker Aero Chamber. The hook Aero Chamber is the one I'm going to put on the Caballero. The hush-thrush I got for the Camaro. But I'm thinking about making my own for the Camaro. So, let me get the mufflers laid out here. We'll hook up the borescope and we'll put it in and see what the inside of the mufflers looks like. I think it's going to be a very good video.

All right here, they are the hooker Aero Chamber that is one solid muffler. You see, there's an inlet and an outlet on it. Now, the thrush turbo muffler has no specified Inlet or Outlet if you notice the difference in the pipe sizes. I'm doing a full three-inch on the Caballero all the way back. I want that deep, mellow tone to it. I'm hoping the hookers are not going to be too radical but let's get this camera set up and get this set up where you can watch what I'm doing. And we'll get in there and see what they got.

Okay, I'll see how good I can keep you all the in the camera here. Now, this right here has got a dual lens on it, as well; you can see it there on the side. Press and hold the camera, and it comes on. You can see from it press and hold, it'll switch back. Of course, you know you got your camera light. Let's go inside and see what we can see. There's, first off, a heck of a chamber; I guess that's why it's called a narrow chamber. All the way around, you can see right through to the other side, but it does have a little bit of insulation in there.

So, how to sound like a dadgum glass pack? I think we're going to have to get on that other side to see the rest of it. Let's go over here and take a look inside this one. That's just a straightback. Switch that side camera and see if we can see anything. They aren't helping us. All right, to switch that back. Let's flip these things around and take a look through the other way. Straighten this up here; right back inside looks like it's just coming straight in. Do we have a double chamber? I see what it is. Got a chamber on each end chamber with the insulation in the center. That ought to be a good-sounding Muffler. Maybe a little loud, and let's see here. We got this one going straight in on this one. Okay, I see what's going on. What you got on this one is you're coming in, but you can come in either side. You're coming in. This goes right about here. You've got a chamber on this end, and you got a pipe over here that comes and brings it around back out.

Conclusion

It's almost very close to a stock muffler the way it does. I just think it's more open and able to flow better inside there. But anyway, there is the Sanyipace endoscope. It works really well. Very nice, clear picture. Look at that, and it's got a huge focal length. I mean, you can get right down close and look in there with this one. You can see how close I am to that. It is very well made, it's plastic, but it feels very hefty. I really enjoyed checking it.

I hope you all like the look inside the Mufflers. I know it wasn't too smooth, and you know everything. But I now know exactly you know what the difference is between them. Hopefully, you do too. I've had the hush-thrush on one of my cars before. Love the sound of it. I mean had a very nice deep Rumble. It is a 79 Trans Am sound, just beautiful.
